FRIDAY FAMILY FUN NIGHT
MILWAUKEE (May 13, 2009) -- Delafield springs to life during their annual Art Walk event, which celebrates creativity and community held throughout the city's delightful downtown. The Art Walk is a free event and takes place this Friday, May 15, from 5 pm to 9 pm. This year Delafield's Art Walk boasts roughly 40 businesses who will participate in the fun, family-friendly and casual event, making it the largest in the event's history. Visitors at the Art Walk have the opportunity to watch art being created, view artwork at many businesses and studios as well as eat, drink, enjoy music and much more. A new-comer to the Art Walk is Shoot the Moon Photography, who opened a studio located at 719 Genesee Street earlier this year. "We have heard so many wonderful things about the Art Walk, we can't wait to participate," says Joy Vertz, founder of Shoot the Moon Photography. "The Delafield community has already been so warm and welcoming to us and we have only been here a few months. We're looking forward to meeting even more families at the event." Be sure to stop by Shoot the Moon studios, where they will have complimentary beer and sangria, a string quartet, some giveaways, displayed artwork as well as Shoot the Moon photography promotions and discounts. Shoot the Moon Photography has distinctive fine art portraiture studios in Mequon and Delafield Wisconsin, and has been named Milwaukee's top photography studio by WISN Channel 12's A-List for 2007 AND 2008. One of the largest and most upscale studios in the Midwest, the studio offers unique, photojournalistic portrait sessions for maternity, infants, children, seniors, families, and weddings. Shoot the Moon also provides distinctive services including artist renditions; custom handbags, jewelry, stationery, and greeting cards; as well as private runway experiences. |
