The Picturing Hope Initiative is a competition among Wisconsin Not for Profit organizations designed to support the good works of the winning organization through photography. This will ideally become an annual event held each October. The competition will be open to any not for profit organization that meets the following eligibility criteria:

• Must be a 501c(3) organization
• Must have its main office in the state of Wisconsin
• Must have been established for a minimum of five years
• Must have marketing efforts currently in place
• Must be willing to share annual budget numbers and approximate marketing budget

The Prize
One not for profit organization will be selected to receive a one day photo shoot, valued at $1500, and approximately 10 finished images for unlimited use for one year. At the end of the year, the winning organization will have the option to purchase the rights to the photos for a deeply discounted price, which will vary depending on the intended use of the photographs.

How the contest works
From October 1, 2008 to October 31, 2008, organizations can apply to win the Picturing Hope Initiative by filling out a form at STMPhoto.com/PicturingHope. The winner will be selected by November 30, 2008 and will be notified by December 15, 2008. The photo shoot will be scheduled at a mutually convenient date for both STM Creative and the not for profit organization.

Considerations for the winning organization
The winning organization must:

• Give photo credits to STM Creative when images are used
• Recognize STM Creative as an in-kind sponsor for 2008 and 2009

In addition, STM Creative has the right to use the name of the winning organization for self-promotion purposes.
